BARBARA ZANDSTRA

Barbara Zandstra, age 73 of Lowell, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband Ray; parents, Bruce and Inga Weeks; and good friend Betsy Davidson. Barbara is survived by her children, Kimberly (Harry) DeJong, Ryan (Chayo) Gould; grandchildren, Jacob (Tia) Gould, Jordan (Dom Ridgell) Harding, Brayden (Sara Alexander) Gould, and Gavin Gould; great-grandchildren, Rhettlyn, Rhean, Riverlin, and Braxton; son-in-law Mike Harding; good friends, Earl Casler, Liz Baker, April McClure, and Lynn Nauta. Barbara was in the class of 1968 at Lowell High School and later attended CMU.  For 25 years, she worked for Dr. Lang, Dr. Gauthier, and Dr. Meier. Barbara found true joy spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Alongside her husband Ray, they were celebrated as Co-People of the year in 2006 of Lowell. A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2024, from 4-7 pm at Roth-Gerst Funeral Home. Service will be on Friday, March 15, 2024, at 11am at Roth-Gerst Funeral Home, 305 N.
