MILLER

Larry Jake Miller, age 81, of Lowell, passed away March 2, 2025.

He was born November 22, 1943 in Muskegon, Michigan, the son of Jacob and Hazel (Peckham) Miller. Larry married Pat Kyser on September 29, 1962 in Lowell. He was a member of South Boston Bible Church; he managed the softball team for years. Larry was also a member of the Heritage Baptist Church in Lakeland, Florida, when he and Pat lived there. Larry worked for Amway for 37 years and also was co-owner of Hobby Stop in Lowell for nine years. He loved watching and listening to Tiger baseball. Larry is survived by his wife of 62 years, Pat Miller, of Lowell. Children, Anne Stevens of Lowell and Randy (Sheri) Miller of Saranac.

Grandchildren, Katherine Stanford, Carl Stanford, Christopher Miller (Gabrielle), Avery Miller and Haley (Pierce) Sadlier. Great grandchildren, Zayleigh, Adalie, Emelie, Mason, Memphis, Barry and Phineas. Brother Bill Miller of Florida and sister Mary Strauss of Lowell. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Lester, Wayne and Roger, great grandson, Maverick and son-in-law Bob Stevens. Memorial Services will be at South Boston Bible Church on Saturday, March 22 at 12:30 p.m., with Pastor Ron Tuinstra and Pastor Corey Malone officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday, 11 a.m. until the time of services. A funeral luncheon will follow the services. Those wishing may make memorial contributions to Gideon’s.
