Ski Team Hits the Slopes

LHS Skiier Anders Melby on the Giant Slalom Course on February 1st.

On a rare near-40 degree early February day, the Lowell ski team took to the slopes on Thursday at Cannonsburg. It was a giant slalom only race, the Ledger camera was there for the first time this season.

The boys took fourth behind Cooper Byrne (2nd), as well as contributions from Anders Melby, Mitchell Swint and Sam Konyndyk

The girls took fifth with Sophie Konyndyk leading the way followed by Leni Seibert and Maria Pujol.
