Duane “Dewey” Francisco, age 90 of Lowell, passed away Friday, February 7, 2025. He was preceded in death by his wife, Michelle (Linebaugh); grandson, Sam Francisco; parents, George and Bernice Francisco; brothers, Bobby, Jerry, and Dick Francisco. Dewey is survived by his son, Matthew (Rachel); grandson, Liam Hanley; mother-in-law, Karen Linbaugh; sisters; Darlene Gahan, Diane Southerland; sister-in-law, Helen Francisco; and many nieces and nephews. Dewey was a life-long dairy farmer that was known for his wit and expert level trash talking. He loved laughing and joking around. In his spare time, Dewey enjoyed playing cards, especially Euchre, and watching old westerns. He was an avid fan of the Detroit Tigers and really enjoyed baseball in all forms. Dewey supported his nieces and nephews in sports and enjoyed attending their games. Above all, Dewey treasured the time spent with loved ones. Family greeted friends and relatives from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at Roth-Gerst Funeral Home, 305 N. Hudson Lowell, Michigan 49331. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at First Congregational Church of Lowell, 865 Lincoln Lake Ave SE, Lowell, Michigan, 49331, with visitation one hour prior.
