Barbara Johnson, age 78 of Kentwood, passed away peacefully and entered into her heavenly home on Friday, October 25, 2024.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Ellen Hayes. Barbara is survived by her children, Scott Johnson (Brooke Zeller), Jeffrey (Regan) Johnson, Jennifer (Mark) Thrash, Todd Johnson; 10 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and special friends Betty and David Deans. She grew up in Ludington and held a special place in her heart for the USS Badger, which her father worked on. Barbara enjoyed being creative, whether she was scrapbooking, rubber stamping, or crafting. She was an amazing cook and was well known for her baked beans. Barbara loved worship music, and liked to listen to her favorite band, the Gaithers.  Funeral services will be held at 11am on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at Roth-Gerst Funeral Home, 305 N. Hudson, Lowell, MI 49331, with visitation one hour prior. Pastor Lee Taylor officiating.
