Carole Jean Tower, age 82, of Corunna, Michigan, peacefully passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at Owosso Memorial Healthcare. A time of remembrance for Carole will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Nelson-House funeral home from 3 pm until 5 pm. Born on September 21, 1942, in Chicago, Illinois, Carole was the beloved daughter of Bert and Florence (Moen) Leibhardt. She graduated from Anaheim Union High School in the class of 1960.

Carole had a unique talent for crafting beautiful gift baskets, a hobby that brought joy to many. She cherished spending time with family and friends, and she loved immersing herself in classic movies and television shows, particularly "Gunsmoke." Carole took great pride in her Irish heritage, celebrating it with enthusiasm and joy. On March 27, 1964, Carole married Lon William Tower Sr. in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Together, they built a loving family and shared a life filled with laughter and adventure.

Carole dedicated 25 years to serving as a secretary at Corunna Schools. She also devoted five years to assisting veterans at the Veteran Affairs Office, a role that showcased her compassionate nature. Carole is survived by her son, Mike Tower; stepson, Dennis Bohatch; grandson, Lon Tower III; several cherished nieces and nephews; and many other loving family members and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Lon William Tower Sr.; stepson, Lon Tower Jr.; and son, Bill Tower. The family kindly suggests memorial contributions to the Donor Network of Arizona.
