The Red Arrow football team saw plenty of success this past year on the field earning their fifth straight playoff appearance, earning a marquee win over then top-ranked Byron Center, and backed that success up in the classroom as well.

Lowell was one of four teams in all of division three to earn Team Academic All-State honors awarded by the Michigan High School Football Coaches Association. Lowell was joined by Forest Hills Central, Midland, and Walled Lake Western.

In addition to the team award, the following Lowell Football players earned Individual Academic All-State Honors:

- Ben Gaskin

- Jacob Hofman

- TJ Hollern

- Ari McFarland

- Todd Parcheta

- Jackson Reisbig

- Drew Weber

- Avery Elmhirst

- Brady Swift

- Nick Williams

In order to be nominated for individual academic all-state, players must be seniors, have a minimum cumulative GPA of a 3.5, and be a regular member of the football team throughout their senior year.

The Red Arrows have earned the team honor for the last 15 years, dating back to 2008, and have had 36 individuals earn academic all-state honors from the MHSFCA since 2020. That represents an incredible stretch of academic achievement. The MHSFCA did not have an Academic all-state team in 2020 due to the pandemic.

Lowell Football Head Coach Jacob Henige told the Ledger after the announcement from the MHSFCA, “Proud of our student athletes, especially the Seniors that lived out our Team Motto of "Be Relentless" the past 4 years. Our number 1 core value when living out the motto of "Be Relentless" is to be a quality STUDENT athlete. They are students first. To be a great teammate/leader of the Lowell Red Arrow Football program you have to compete in the academic environment. The true leaders and competitors compete at everything in life! It's a GREAT DAY to be a RED ARROW!":
